Landing today in mailboxes all over Mt. Juliet is an oversize full-color postcard attacking Wendell Marlowe (at least she spelled his name right this time!). The card has a photo of a moving van on the front side, labelled “Deceitful Moving Company – We will help sneak you out of town.”
On the back side the mailer charges “WENDELL MARLOWE DECIEVED [sic] THE PUBLIC AND KEPT TAXPAYERS’S MONEY!” followed by “ON NOVEMBER 4th, SEND MARLOWE PACKING!”
One: If you’re going to mail out an attack post-card, you probably should run everything through spell-check. Twice. “Deceived” is spelled wrong on the back side.
Two: Since Marlowe doesn’t hold any elected office in Mt. Juliet, the last line of the mailer doesn’t really make much sense.
