Mt. Juliet hires Lebanon’s city attorney as its new city judge

Apparently he will hold both positions simultaneously.

Does this seem like a good idea?

Nothing against the new Judge, I don’t even know his or her name, but considering the acrimony that exists between Mt. Juliet and Lebanon I can see the possibility of problems that could exist in this relationship.

I hope this works out for the best.

I think the commission made a good choice. Andy Wright should be fine.

Andy Wright may be a good choice as far as ability and capability, but we will have to see what kind of politics and pressures come into play between Mt. Juliet and Lebanon over this choice.
